How long will the party last?

Most parties last for 2 hours. The general format is make up and nails for the first hour, followed by a break for party food. I then play party games with the girls until the parents arrive. I usually take about an hour for up to 10 guests, so If there are more than 10 guests, and you would like me to play games with the girls, then we will need longer. Of course, everyone's requirements are different. If you do not require me to play party games then I can make-over more guests during the 2 hours. I do not charge extra for a longer duration party, as I charge per guest. Contact me to discuss your requirements.

What is in the party bags?

They include items such as lip balms or body glitter, funky light-up mobile phone key ring, hair accessories, glow stick bracelets, sweets, large balloons, temporary tattoos, pencils, note books and novelty stationery items. I vary the contents depending on the average age of the guests. There will be a miniumum of 8 items all presented beautifully in a party bag.

What kind of products will you be using?

I only use high quality cosmetics and products, mostly from The Body Shop. All are anti-allergy tested. I will only apply products that are suitable for the age of the guest - nothing too garish. I won't apply mascara unless the parents have specifically said that I may do so. All of the products will come off easily with a baby wipe, so no black pillows in the morning! The nail polishes are also suitable for the ages of the guests, and will come off with any nail polish remover. I apply nail stickers when available, these also peel off easily. I dry the girl's nails in an electric dryer and check that the nails are thoroughly dry before the guest is released into the house!

What do the girls do while they are waiting to be made-up?

They tend to form an orderly queue, terrified to move in case they lose their place! I do encourage them to stay in the room with me and chat to them all whilst they are waiting. I usually have some music on and encourage them to dance and get in a sparkly mood! The girls like to have their choices of make up and nail colours ready, and usually like to watch their friends.
